About The Event

Reality Programming Peer Group Governors Philip Segal and Bob Boden, along with their Peer Group Executive Committee, cordially invite peer group members and a potential member guest to an informative evening exploring

The International Format Game: The Past, Present, and Future

Television Formats have traveled across the seas for decades. Among them have been some of the biggest hits in the history of the medium, airing in over 100 countries. Others have been some of the most expensive flops of all time. What makes a successful worldwide format? Who are the key players? What are the key territories? How much money can be made? What are the biggest legal, political, financial, cultural and creative challenges? How have the streamers come into play? How has the business changed? What happens next?

All this and more will be discussed and debated by a distinguished panel consisting of top executives, producers, distributors and agents and experts in the field. Please join us for a memorable evening, including a networking reception after the panel.

Panelists:*

  • Sharon Vuong, SVP, Alternative Programs, CBS Entertainment
  • Amir Shahkhalili, WME
  • Tim Crescenti, Small World
  • David Eilenberg, Chief Creative Officer, ITV America
  • Gil Goldschein, Chairman and CEO of Bunim/Murray Productions
