Buddy Bregman was a producer, director, and conductor best known for his work orchestrating the film version of The Pajama Game. Bregman provided the arrangements for all of the famous Bob Fosse numbers, including "Steam Heat," "Once-a-Year-Day," and "Hernando's Hideaway."

He also scored or orchestrated films including Five Guns West, The Wild Party, The Delicate Delinquent, and Born Reckless.

Additionally, Bregman contributed as a composer or arranger to the television series M Squad, Peter Loves Mary, Shower of Stars, General Electric Theater, The Eddie Fisher Show, and The Kathy Kirby Show.

Additionally, Bregman served as a producer on the series International Cabaret and The Jonathan Winters Show, and helmed specials for Ethel Merman, Nancy Wilson, Shirley Bassey, Mel Tormé, Danny Thomas, Cole Porter, José Greco, and Shirley Temple.

Bregman died January 8, 2017, in Los Angeles. He was 86.
