Emmy Award for the Best Outstanding Music Composition for A Limited Series, Movie Or Special at the 70th Emmy Awards for the Original Music of the Documentary Film MARCH OF THE PENGUINS 2: THE NEXT STEP by Luc Jacquet.

Winner of many prizes from both Paris and Lyon Music Academies, Cyrille Aufort first started composing music for the theater, short films and animation films before working extensively in cinema. In 2006, Cyrille Aufort composed music for feature films as 9A directed by Reza Rezaï, HELL directed by Bruno Chiche SPLICE directed by Vincenzo Natali.

In 2011, he composed the music for OMBLINE directed by Stephane Cazès and received the ECRAN JUNIOR AWARD AT CANNES FESTIVAL 2012.

In 2012, Cyrille Aufort continued with A ROYAL AFFAIR (awarded Silver Bear for best main actor and best scenario at the Berlinale 2012 and nine Robert Awards at film festival in Denmark 2013), directed by Nicolaj Arcel, an original soundtrack co-composed with Gabriel Yared.

More recently, he composes the music of ANTARCTICA: ICE & SKY by Luc Jacquet. He then works on Avi Nesher's movie PAST LIFE and continues with KNOCK directed by Lorraine Levy.

Same year, he composes the Original Score of the TV Series NOX, directed by Mabrouk El Mechri and broadcasted on Canal+. Then, he works again with Yann Samuell composing the Original Soundtrack of the TV Film MA MERE LE CRABE ET MOI and Avi Nesher for the movie THE OTHER STORY.
