Francine Pascal was an American author and producer. She was best known for writing the first 12 books in the teen series, Sweet Valley High. The books were turned into the television series Sweet Valley High, which ran for 4 seasons. Other books Pascal has written include George M! which was turned into a television movie and Hangin' Out with CiCi, which evolved into the television series ABC Afterschool Specials.
