Fred R. Krug was a producer, director and cinematographer who was best known for his travel and wildlife television documentaries and shows. He served as a producer on series including Animal World, World of Women, American West and The Magical World of Disney. Krug directed shows including epsiodes of The Magical World of Disney, Animal World and The Challenging Sea. He served as a cinematographer on New! Animal World, World of the Sea, Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom and Animal World.

Krug produced television movies including "The World of Reptiles" and "The Great Apes" and both produced and directed the film, "The Secret of Old Glory Mine."
