Six-time Primetime Emmy® nominee Hugh Laurie starred as "Dr. Gregory House" in House M.D. from 2004 until the show's series finale in 2012. He won two Golden Globe Awards for his portrayal of the role. The actor-director has appeared in roles on Friends, Life with Judy Garland, Fortysomething. His films include the animated Monsters vs. Aliens with Reese Witherspoon and Seth Rogen, Flight of the Phoenix with Dennis Quaid, and Sense and Sensibility with Emma Thompson and Kate Winslet. Laurie’s first novel, The Gun Seller, has been adapted into a screenplay.
