Leonard Mancini Jr. was an American lighting director.

He worked on such shows as 60 Minutes, CBS Sunday Morning, The NFL Today, Survivor, and 48 Hours.

Mancini joined CBS in January 1975 at the age of 16. He became a stagehand in Studio 46, working alongside his father, who was the head carpenter.

Mancini transitioned to lightning, working as an apprentice under many CBS lighting designers, which enabled him to rise to the role of lighting director of The NFL Today in 1984.

A few years later, he was elevated to lighting director for 60 Minutes and CBS Sunday Morning.

Mancini died December 9, 2022 in Nanuet, New York. He was 64.
