Mark Paterson is a transmedia director, motion designer, animator and compositor. He is known for his work on hit animated series such as Archer (FXX), Ten Year Old Tom (HBO Max), and Star Trek: Lower Decks (Paramount+).

In 2015, he created the critically-acclaimed alternate reality game (ARG), Archer Scavenger Hunt, followed by its sequel, Archer Scavenger Hunt 2, in 2016. These massive multi-platform experiences were intricately woven through seasons 6 and 7 of Archer, and spread across the vast expanse of the internet. They inspired fans to collaborate through a labyrinth of Easter eggs, multi-step puzzles, and exclusive off-channel content, each culminating in a compelling ultimate objective. The ARG series won back-to-back Emmy Awards for Outstanding Achievement In Interactive Media – Multiplatform Storytelling.
