Michael Eisner is an American businessman. Eisner was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of The Walt Disney Company from 1984 until 2005.

Prior to Disney, Eisner was President and CEO of rival movie studio, Paramount Pictures, from 1976 to 1984, and had brief stints at the major television networks: NBC, CBS, and ABC.

Michael Eisner was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame in 2012.
