Michael Preece was a script supervisor turned director who worked on popular television series and movies. At the start of his career as a script supervisor, he worked on shows including Waterfront, Mannix and I Spy and films such as "How the West Was Won," "The Getaway" and "The Paper Chase."

Michael served as the director on over 60 episodes of Dallas and over 70 episodes of Walker, Texas Ranger. Other shows he directed episodes of include Barnaby Jones, Falcon Crest, Hunter, MacGyver and 7th Heaven. Preece directed films including television movies like "The Paradise Connection," "Great Day" and "The President's Man."
