Patricia Elliott was an actress best known for her work on the television series One Life to Live. She also performed on Broadway, debuting in 1973 in Stephen Sondheim’s original production of A Little Night Music.

She would go on to win the Tony for best featured actress for her role as Countess Charlotte Malcolm. She also appeared in The Elephant Man (opposite David Bowie), A Doll's House, A Month of Sundays, Hedda Gabler and the 1977 original production of The Shadow Box, for which she earned her second Tony nomination.

On the ABC's One Life to Live, she played Renee Divine Buchanan from 1988 to 2011. She took the character over from actress Phyllis Newman, who portrayed the role from 1987 to 1988.

Elliott also appeared on the series Kojak, Nurse, Empire, St. Elsewhere, Hill Street Blues and Kate & Allie. Additionally, she appeared in the telefilms The Man Without a Country, starring Cliff Robertson, Beau Bridges and Peter Strauss; The Quinns; Tartuffe; Summer Solstice, with Henry Fonda and Myrna Loy; The Cartier Affair, starring Joan Collins and David Hasselhoff; A Special Friendship; The Ladies and Men in White.

She also had roles in the feature films Somebody Killed Her Husband, with Farrah Fawcett and Jeff Bridges; Birch Interval; Natural Enemies and Criminal Hearts.

Additionally, she was on the CBS Radio Mystery Theater series from 1974 to 1982.

Elliott died December 20, 2015, in New York City. She was 77.
