Stuart Cornfeld was an American film and television producer.
A graduate of the American Film Institute and the University of California Berkeley with a degree in Psychology, Cornfeld produced content for film and television for forty years.
He is perhaps best known for his work with Ben Stiller, producing films such as Zoolander (2001), Dodgeball (2004), Starsky & Hutch (2004), Tropic Thunder (2008), The Secret Life of Walter Mitty (2013) and Zoolander 2 (2016).
Cornfeld also produced The Elephant Man (1980), History of the World: Part I (1981), The Fly (1986), Mimic (1997), The Ruins (2008), Megamind (2010), and The Polka King (2017).
His television work includes Fallen Angels, The Birthday Boys, Burning Love, Next Time on Lonny, The Meltdown with Jonah & Kumail, and Another Period. In 2013, he shared a Primetime Emmy nomination for Outstanding Special Class – Short-Format Live-Action Entertainment Programs for Burning Love.
Cornfeld died June 26, 2020. He was 67.
