Ted Bergmann was a producer and executive who began his career in the infancy of television and went on to achieve numerous milestones, including producing the first National Football League and Grammy Awards telecasts.
Bergmann got his start in TV at NBC in 1947 and eventually became president of the DuMont Television Network.
In addition to the NFL and Grammys, his other credicts included The Arthur Godfrey Show, Love Thy Neighbor and Three’s Company.
Bergmann died March 2, 2014, in Santa Monica, California. He was 93.
