Walter Halsey Davis was an American screenwriter and producer.
Davis wrote several made for television films, including Resting Place (with Morgan Freeman and John Lithgow), Seven Hours to Judgment (with Beau Bridges and Ron Leibman), The Great Escape II: The Untold Story (with Christopher Reeve and Judd Hirsch), Last Flight Out (with James Earl Jones), Silent Cries (with Gena Rowlands), and Father & Son: Dangerous Relations (with Louis Gossett, Jr.).
Davis won a Primetime Emmy Award as co-producer of the 1985 TV movie Do You Remember Love (with Joanne Woodward).
Davis died August 31, 2019. He was 76.
