Television has an incredible reach and impact on viewers across the country. With the 2024 general election on the horizon, this event will dive into the ways both unscripted and scripted content provide opportunities for building civic knowledge and engagement. Speakers will examine the complex relationship between television and democracy, discussing television's power to entertain and inform audiences outside the newsroom.
