The Television Academy invites members to:
You Can't Write This Stuff!
The Secret Sauce (hint: it's the people!) that makes unscripted television so compelling, challenging and addicting.
People are fascinated with people-watching, knowing that you can always expect the unexpected. For the professionals behind the camera and the viewers who watch, it's the peeling back of layers to get to the heart of the matter that makes unscripted television unfiltered and unpredictable.
Our panel of producers, casting directors, editors, and on-screen personalities will dive into what it takes to find, shoot, and produce stories about real people on television's unscripted programs that continue to capture the attention of viewers. Because no matter how carefully you cast, and your format is planned... real people and their stories will always be fascinating.
