TV & Climate Change: How Storytelling Can Redefine the Conversation
Climate Change has grown ever more threatening in our everyday lives, from the LA fires to blistering winter storms to an onslaught of tornadoes. What was once an abstract idea now has a tangible death toll and property damage in the hundreds of billions. As creators, artists, craftspeople, and executives in the television industry, we're in a unique position to foster not just conversation, but action.
This has never been more pressing, but it has also never faced so many adversaries denying the undeniable.
This unique Earth Day event will bring television professionals and climate scientists together for an honest conversation about how we can promote climate change visibility in our storytelling and advance a culture of sustainability on our sets and in our workplaces.
This is an event designed to deal with the maddening reality creatives now face, with the goal of finding concrete strategies and impactful solutions.
