ALEX TREBEK LEGACY FELLOWSHIPS

The Television Academy Foundation is proud to offer the Alex Trebek Legacy Fellowship to attend the Media Educators Conference. Named in honor of the late Alex Trebek, longtime host of the quiz show  Jeopardy!, the Alex Trebek Legacy Fellowship covers costs including registration, travel and/or hotel accommodations for this year's conference. Preference will be given to attendees from minority-serving institutions. Applicants must attend the entire conference. The Alex Trebek Legacy Fellowship has been made possible thanks to a generous gift from The Harry & Judy Friedman Family Foundation.

Note: Previous Alex Trebek Legacy Fellowship recipients and applicants are welcome to reapply.

Eligibility requirements

Preference for Fellowship applicants:

    1. Instruct at a Minority Serving Institution (per US DOE's definition).

    2. Instruct at an institution with a significant minority student population.

    3. Has not previously attended the Faculty Seminar or Media Educators Conference

Applications for the 2025 Fellowships will open in Spring.
