The Television Academy's Board of Governors recently approved the name change of the Engineering Emmy Awards to the Engineering, Science & Technology Emmy Awards, better reflecting the breadth of the achievements recognized during this annual ceremony.
The submissions for the 74th Engineering, Science & Technology Emmys are now open, and the Television Academy is accepting entries through Friday, April 8. The Engineering, Science & Technology Emmy Awards honor an individual, a company or an organization for developments in engineering, science, and technology that are either so extensive an improvement on existing methods or so innovative in nature that they materially affect the production, recording, transmission or reception of television, and thereby have elevated the storytelling process.
