Aaron Paul has won multiple Primetime Emmy Awards in the outstanding supporting actor category, among other prestigious nods, for his dramatic role as meth dealer Jesse Pinkman on AMC drama Breaking Bad. He is currently starring in The Path.

The Idaho native, headed to Hollywood right after his high school graduation at 17 years old, landed his very first television appearance on an episode of Beverly Hills, 90210 in 1990.  He followed that job with appearances on such shows as Melrose Place, 3rd Rock from the Sun, ER and Sleeper Cell, among others.

Years before crossing paths with Giancarlo Esposito on the set of Breaking Bad, the 2 appeared together in a 2006 episode of Ghost Whisperer.

Paul, who stars in the 2014 big screen feature Need for Speed, also played recurring character Scott Quittman on HBO’s Big Love with Bill Paxton.

Paul said a lot of people thought he auditioned for the role Francis on long-running '90s comedy Malcolm in the Middle — which would have found him playing the oldest son of his then-future Breaking co-star Bryan Cranston. While he did like the pilot after someone sent the script to him, Yahoo TV reported, no audition actually occurred.

He can also be seen in Mission Impossible: III and in horror film classic redux The Last House on the Left.
