Abby Dalton was an American actress.

Dalton began her acting career with producer/director Roger Corman in 1957, making her debut in the beatnik film Rock All Night. Over the next few years, she appeared in numerous Corman films including Teenage Doll, Carnival Rock, and Stakeout on Dope Street.

In 1959, Dalton was cast in Hennesey, a comedy-drama set at a naval hospital. Her role as series star Jackie Cooper’s girlfriend earned her an Emmy nomination for Outstanding Supporting Actress in 1961. She also starred as Joey Bishop’s wife on The Joey Bishop Show from 1962-65.

Other TV credits included roles in The Jonathan Winters Show, My Three Sons, Nanny and the Professor, The Young and the Restless, and Love, American Style.

Dalton was a regular on game shows of the 1970s, including Hollywood Squares, Match Game and Super Password.

Dalton continued making guest appearances on television throughout the 1970s, and in 1981, Dalton found her best-known role as winemaker Julia Cumson on the prime time soap opera Falcon Crest. She stayed with the series until 1986.

Dalton died November 23, 2020, in Los Angeles, California. She was 88.
