Emmy Award Winner and a co-founder of NELA Films, Adam Bluming has directed and shot award winning commercials, films and television shows with an eye for beautifully dynamic imagery and haunting storytelling.
In 2007, he directed "Jonna's Body, Please Hold," a dark comedy about cancer which garnered a cult following while winning both jury and audience awards on the festival circuit. In 2016, Bluming stepped into episodic directing with Netflix's hit series Longmire, starring Robert Taylor, Lou Diamond Phillips, and Katee Sackhoff. In 2017, he returned to direct again in Longmire's 6th and final season. In 2020, he worked with Alicia Keys on the world premiere of her music video, "Good Job," and was awarded an Emmy for it in 2021 at the 42nd News & Documentary Emmy Awards.
Through the years, he's worked on campaigns for brands including Target, Nissan, Victoria's Secret, AT&T, Nike, Coors Light, Nintendo, Levi's, and Scion. Additionally, he has directed special teaser shoots for Scream 3 and Men in Black 2, as well as the opening prologue of Blade 2.
