Alexis Bledel is an American actress and model. She is best known for her role as Rory Gilmore on the television series Gilmore Girls (2000–07). Flim appearances include Sin City (2005), and The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants film series.
Bledel reprised her role as Rory Gilmore on Netflix's reunion miniseries, Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life (2016).
In 2017, she appeared as Ofglen in The Handmaid's Tale for Hulu; subsequently her role was expanded to a regular role for the upcoming second season. Her critically acclaimed turn in the role earned Bledel her first Emmy nomination for 2017 in the category of Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series.
