Barry Pepper played “Private Daniel Jackson” in Saving Private Ryan, prison guard “Dean Stanton” in The Green Mile, “Frank Slaughtery” in Spike Lee’s 25th Hour, “Dale Earnhardt” in ESPN’s film 3: The Dale Earnhardt Story, and “Lucky Ned Pepper” in True Grit. He starred in We Were Soldiers, Battlefield Earth, Seven Pounds alongside Will Smith, and in Billy Crystal’s HBO film 61*. Pepper portrayed “Bobby Kennedy” in the eight-part miniseries The Kennedys, a role which earned him a Primetime Emmy® Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Miniseries or Movie.
