Catherine O’Hara is best known for prominent roles in Beetlejuice, Home Alone – where she played Macaulay Culkin’s mother “Kate McCallister,” and Best in Show. She was the voice of “Sally/Shock” in Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas, guest starred on Six Feet Under, and played “Aunt Ann” in HBO movie Temple Grandin. O’Hara helped close the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics where she spoke at the closing ceremony alongside fellow Canadians Michael J. Fox and William Shatner.
