Cosmo Genovese was an American script supervisor.

After serving in the Armed Forces in France during World War II, Genovese returned to his native Chicago to direct television and radio shows before moving to California in the 1950s. His first job as a script supervisor was on the 1956 film Friendly Persuasion (with Gary Cooper and Anthony Perkins).

Genovese got his start in television on the 1950s ABC western Broken Arrow, serving as script supervisor on nearly three dozen episodes. He then became script supervisor for Perry Mason, the popular CBS legal drama starring Raymond Burr.

Genovese worked mostly on films for the next few years, returning to television in 1983 as script supervisor for the NBC action series The A-Team. He also worked on The New Mike Hammer and Tales from the Crypt, before beginning a nearly 15-year association with the Star Trek franchise, working on 176 episodes of Star Trek: The Next Generation, from 1987 to 1994, and Star Trek: Voyager, from 1995 to 2000. Genovese also worked on several Star Trek video games in the mid-1990s.

Genovese died July 30, 2019. He was 95.
