Jeannie Gunn was an Emmy-winning set decorator whose career included numerous scripted television series, as well as many years of service to the Television Academy.

Gunn began her career in the late 1970s at Lorimar and went on to work on television series that included Falcon CrestThe Flash, Home Improvement, The Shield and Without a Trace. For the latter, she won an Emmy in 2003, in the category of Outstanding Art Direction for a Single Camera Series.

She also worked on the feature films Employee of the Month and Kiss Kiss Bang Bang.

In addition to her set decorating career, Gunn was active in the Television Academy, and from 2003 to 2006 she served as governor of the Art Directors/Set Decorators peer group. She also served on the TV Design Archive, TV Cares and Primetime Awards committees, as well as six years on the Governors Ball committee.

Gunn died on December 28, 2016.
