Joe Morgan was an American sportscaster.

Morgan played second base in Major League Baseball with many teams during a long career, but he is best known for winning two World Series titles with the Cincinnati Reds in 1975 and 1976. He was named National League Most Valuable Player both of those years.

After retiring from baseball, Morgan began a broadcasting career in 1985, moving to ESPN in 1990 where he co-anchored (with Jon Miller) Sunday Night Baseball for 21 seasons. He rejoined the Reds in 2010 as special adviser to baseball operations.

Morgan won two Sports Emmy Awards in the Event Analyst category in 1998 and 2005.

Morgan was inducted into baseball's Hall of Fame in 1990. The Reds also inducted him into their Hall of Fame and retired his number.

Morgan died October 11, 2020, in Danville, California. He was 77.
