Lee is the Executive Vice President, Television & Head of Current Programming at Lionsgate where he oversees all of Lionsgate Television's domestic and international scripted series for streaming, cable and broadcast networks. Recent series include Ghosts (CBS), Power (Starz), P-Valley (Starz), Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist (NBC), Dear White People (Netflix), Mythic Quest (Apple), Welcome to Flatch (FOX), Home Economics (ABC).
Lee initially joined Lionsgate as SVP, Television after having served as VP, Current Programming at CBS Network and CBS TV Studios, where he oversaw Madam Secretary, Criminal Minds, Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, Doubt, The Odd Couple, and Superior Donuts, in addition to CW's Jane the Virgin.
Previously, he was Director, Drama Development at CBS TV Studios, where he developed one-hour television pilots and new series for CBS and CW, including Elementary, Extant, Under the Dome, and Unforgettable.
Lee began his television career at FOX Broadcasting Company as Manager of Drama Development after being Coordinator of Drama Development & Current Programming. During his time at FOX, Lee worked on shows including Glee, Fringe, Dollhouse, Human Target, Lie to Me, House, Prison Break, 24, Bones, Family Guy, and The Simpsons, among others.
Lee teaches television courses at Carnegie Mellon University and UCLA, and is an active member of the Hollywood Radio and Television Society and the Television Academy, serving on the Peer Group Executive Committee for Television Executives. He received his master's degree from Carnegie Mellon University in Entertainment Industry Management and his bachelor's in Theatre Arts from University of Pittsburgh.
