Lynda Obst was an Emmy-nominated producer and writer who worked on many television series and films. She served as a producer on series inclduing The Soul Man, Helix, Good Girls Revolt, The Hot Zone and over 100 episodes of Hot in Cleveland. Obst produced movies including "The Fisher King," "The is My Life," "Sleepless in Seattle," "Contact," "Someone Like You," "How to Lose a Guy in 10 Days" and "Intersteller."
