Moonyeenn Lee was a South African casting director and talent agent.
For nearly five decades, Lee worked in the industry casting films such as Serenity (2019), Black Panther (2018), Eye in the Sky (2015), Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom (2013), Safe House (2012), Machine Gun Preacher (2011), Life, Above All (2010), Blood Diamond (2006), Tsotsi (2005), Hotel Rwanda (2004) and Red Scorpion (1988).
Lee carried out local casting in South Africa on television series including Homeland, The Prisoner, Cape Town, Madiba, The Hot Zone, and Warrior.
She was a two-time Primetime Emmy nominee for Outstanding Cast for Limited Series, Movie or Special for her contributions to Roots (2016) and The Looming Tower (2018).
Lee died July 18, 2020, in Johannesburg, South Africa. She was 76.
