Paul Benjamin was an American actor.
He appeared in films alongside Clint Eastwood in Escape From Alcatraz (1979) and Pink Cadillac (1989), Barbra Streisand in Nuts (1987), and Richard Pryor in Some Kind of Hero (1982).
Benjamin also had roles in Spike Lee's Do The Right Thing (1989), Robert Townsend's The Five Heartbeats (1991), Bill Duke's Hoodlum (1997), and John Singleton's Rosewood (1997).
In addition to his big screen work, Benjamin was also a staple on television, seen in Starsky and Hutch, Kojak, Night Heat, Knots Landing, ER, and Law & Order.
Benjamin died June 28th, 2019, in Los Angeles, California. He was 81.
