Rob Fox was a producer and director who began his career at MTV in the early 1990s.
His early credits included such programs as The Real World, The Osbournes and several MTV News specials.
He later moved to Comedy Central, where he served as a supervising producer of The Daily Show from 1996 to 1999.
Fox's other credits included NBC's Last Comic Standing, for which he received an Emmy nomination in 2004, in the category of Outstanding Reality Competition Series.
He was also an executive producer of the truTV series Storage Wars.
Fox died on June 24, 2017, in Burbank, California. He was 53.
