Shawn Shea was an assistant director and stage manager who worked on sets of television productions. She worked on series including Home Improvement, The Bold and the Beautiful, One Day at a Time, Insight, Open All Night and The Young and the Restless, as well as the television special, The Smothers Brothers Comedy Hour: The 20th Reunion. Shea worked as the assistant director on shows including The War at Home, Kirstie, Austin & Ally, Young & Hungry, Off Centre, Daddio and Sherri.

She was the daughter of director Jack Shea and writer Patt Shea, both television professionals.
