Obituary

Steve Artmont was a makeup artist best known for his Emmy-nominated work on the HBO series Carnivale, for which he was nominated in 2004 and 2005 in the non-prosthetic makeup category.

Artmont also contributed to the daytime drama The Young and the Restless, which earned him a Daytime Emmy nomination in 1988 and a win in 1990.

Additionally, he worked on The George Carlin Show; Beverly Hills, 90210; The Spoils of Babylon; The Comeback; The Spoils Before Dying; Outcast and Big Little Lies.

He also contributed to the films Grumpier Old Men, The Odd Couple II, Austin Powers: The Spy Who Shagged Me, America’s Sweethearts, Rat Race, Men in Black II, Starsky & Hutch, Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby, Step Brothers, Date Night, Little Fockers, The Internship, Her, Get Hard and Daddy’s Home.

Artmont died February 28, 2017, in Hollywood.
