Sue Lyon was an American actress and model.

Lyon began acting in television with minor parts in The Loretta Young Show and Dennis the Menace, which quickly led her to a successful film career.

She shot to fame with her titular role in the controversial film, Lolita (1962) and would star in John Huston's Night of the Iguana (1964), appear in John Ford's final film 7 Women (1966), and star opposite George Hamilton in Evel Knievel (1971).

Lyon also appeared as a guest star in television series such as The Virginian, Men at Law, Night Gallery, Fantasy Island, and made recurring appearances on Love, American Style.

Lyon died December 26th, 2019, in Los Angeles, California. She was 73.
