Tom Smothers was an American comedian, composer and musician, best known as half of the musical comedy team The Smothers Brothers, alongside his younger brother Dick.
Tom and Dick were interviewed by the Television Academy Foundation in 2000.
Tom Smothers was inducted into the Television Academy Hall of Fame with his brother and partner Dick Smothers in 2010.
