Tony Terran was a musician best known for his work as a trumpet player in Desi Arnaz’s orchestra on I Love Lucy. Terran performed as a member of The Ricky Ricardo Orchestra, the musicians that supported Arnaz's character at the Club Tropicana in New York City.

He also worked on The Carol Burnett Show, credited on 274 episodes of the variety series.

As a studio session musician, he played withthe so-called  “Wrecking Crew,” which backed Frank Sinatra, Sonny & Cher, The Mamas & The Papas, The Beach Boys and The Monkees.

He also performed or recorded with artists such as Ella Fitzgerald, Dean Martin, Perry Como, Linda Ronstadt, Peggy Lee, Elvis Presley, Diana Ross, Ray Charles and Barbra Streisand.

Terran died March 20, 2017, in Los Angeles. He was 90.
