Three-time Primetime Emmy® nominee Vanessa Williams is known for her portrayal of self-absorbed diva “Wilhelmina Slater” on NBC’s Ugly Betty. An accomplished recording artist, Williams sang vocals on “Colors of the Wind” in the Oscar-winning Disney animated feature Pocahontas. She released 8 successful solo albums and had many songs reach the charts, including her most popular hit, “Save The Best for Last.” Williams currently stars as “Renee Perry” on Desperate Housewives. She has appeared in hit films like Shaft, Eraser and Soulfood and starred in a variety of Broadway plays.
