The rising stars best known for Netflix productions will participate in a series of events leading up to the SAG Awards ceremony on February 23.

Sofia Carson and Noah Centineo have been named Ambassadors for the 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. In this special role, each will participate in various SAG Awards pre-show events, raising awareness for the SAG-AFTRA Foundation and its programs, including the Disaster Relief Fund, and sharing their insider’s view via social media.

Carson, an award-winning actor, singer and producer, earned accolades for her starring role in the Netflix film Purple Hearts; she also executive produced and co-wrote the soundtrack for the popular romantic drama. More recently, she starred in the Netflix thriller Carry-On, opposite Taron Egerton, Jason Bateman and Danielle Deadwyler. Her upcoming projects include the romantic comedies The Life List and My Oxford Year, also for Netflix.

In addition to her work in the entertainment industry, Carson is a passionate advocate for children who uses her platform to promote global equity as a UNICEF Ambassador. In recognition of her philanthropic efforts, the United Nations Correspondents Association named Carson its “Global Advocate of the Year” in 2023.

Centineo, an actor and producer, garnered acclaim with his breakout role as Peter Kavinsky in the Netflix hit To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before and its two sequels. He reprised that role in season two of the All the Boys spinoff, XO, Kitty. He currently stars in and executive produces the Netflix series The Recruit. Centineo will also appear in the A24 drama Warfare, alongside Charles Melton, Kit Connor and Will Poulter. In 2023, he founded Arkhum Productions, a company specializing in comedy and drama projects with an emphasis on social commentary.

The 31st Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, hosted by Kristen Bell and produced by SAG-AFTRA and Silent House Productions, will stream live globally on Netflix, on Sunday, February 23, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall.
