Montecito, California - Beloved comedian and Primetime Emmy® winner Jonathan Winters died last night at the age of 87 of natural causes at his home near Santa Barbara, California.
Winters is widely remembered for his numerous appearances on The Tonight Show with Johnny Carson over the years, his own program, The Jonathan Winters Show, and the memorable characters he created, such as “Maude Frickert,”“Elwood P. Suggins,” and “King Kwasi.”
