Phil Dunster and Taylor Zakhar Perez Named 2024 SAG Awards Ambassadors

The performers will participate in a series of events leading up to the SAG Awards ceremony on February 24.

Phil Dunster and Taylor Zakhar Perez have been named Ambassadors for the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards. In this special role, each will participate in various SAG Awards pre-show events and share their insider's view via social media.

The duo will be feted at the annual SAG Awards Ambassador Dinner, presented by Campari, on Tuesday, February 20, at Michelin-starred Gwen Butcher Shop & Restaurant in Hollywood by SAG Awards Executive Chef Curtis Stone.

Dunster, a British actor, director, writer and producer, is best known to most audiences for his Emmy-and Critics Choice-nominated performance as self-absorbed soccer star Jamie Tartt in the internationally acclaimed Apple TV+ comedy Ted Lasso. He is currently in production on the second season of another Apple TV+ series, the psychological thriller Surface, starring and executive produced by Gugu Mbatha-Raw.

Zakhar Perez most recently appeared as the lead character, Alex Claremont-Diaz, in Amazon Studios' film adaptation of The New York Times best-selling novel, Red, White & Royal Blue, opposite Nicholas Galitzine and Uma Thurman. His notable previous credits include the second and third installments of The Kissing Booth franchise, a global success for Netflix. He was also featured in the first season of the Max series Minx, as well as in Buzzfeed Studios' 1Up, available on Amazon Prime Video.

The 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards, produced by SAG-AFTRA and Silent House Productions, will stream live globally on Netflix Saturday, February 24, at 8 p.m. ET / 5 p.m. PT from the Shrine Auditorium & Expo Hall.
